Driven by the Priorities of Our People
FCCCI’s work is a reflection of locally defined priorities. We engage community leaders, county governments, and technical experts to design initiatives that respond directly to the realities of life in ASAL regions.
- Resilient Livelihoods: Supporting pastoralist production systems, diversifying income sources, and strengthening value chains like camel milk and handicrafts.
- Access to Basic Services: Improving ECDE infrastructure, water security, and healthcare — including solarizing remote facilities like Ngilai Health Unit.
- Peace & Security: Facilitating inter-community peace forums and strengthening local governance for conflict prevention.
- Data & Learning: Leveraging community insights, participatory planning, and adaptive monitoring to guide policy and program design.
